Civil Design Engineer-Dubai

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing civil engineering projects related to oil and gas production facilities, drilling locations, and supporting infrastructure & collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Develop civil engineering designs for production facilities, drilling sites, access roads, and related structures.

2- Conduct site surveys and support geotechnical investigations to assess site conditions and inform design decisions.

3-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.

4-Manage civil engineering projects from concept to completion with strict scheduling oversight.

5-Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design drawings, specifications, BOQs and project reports.

6-Provide technical support during construction phases, ensuring adherence to designs and resolving field issues.

7-Prepare cost estimates for civil works, analyzing materials and methodologies for cost-effectiveness.

8-Implement quality assurance procedures to maintain construction standards and ensure project safety.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering as a minimum.
• 15 years or more of experience in civil engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAD etc) and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and experience with soil analysis and foundation design.
