THE RESPONSIBILITY WOULD COVER:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot centrifugal, gear, screw, progressive cavity, Chemical dosing injection, and positive displacement pumps.
Ensure pumps operate within BEP (Best Efficiency Point) based on pump curves and process conditions.
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) for recurring pump failures and implement corrective actions.
Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs in line with OEM manuals.
Perform shaft alignment using laser or dial methods and supervise dynamic balancing activities.
Inspect and replace mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, wear rings, shafts, and couplings.
Monitor pump condition using vibration analysis, temperature monitoring, and performance trends.
Identify and mitigate cavitation, seal failures, overheating, abnormal vibration, and hydraulic issues.
Review suction and discharge piping to ensure compliance with NPSH requirements and proper valve selection.
Develop and control critical spare parts lists and manage spare parts inventory.
Prepare technical reports, KPIs, and maintenance documentation for the Mechanical Superintendent.
Ensure compliance with oil field HSE standards, API standards, and permit-to-work systems.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
7–10+ years of experience in pump engineering within oil & gas or heavy industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
