FACILITY OPERATOR

Facility Operator shall operate plant process, wells and utility systems effectively and safety with maximised production rates. It is expected that procedures will be always followed and that Management Systems and local regulatory compliance are met in all aspects of work. The Production Facility Operator will facilitate routine maintenance by isolations and reinstatement, liaising with CRO.
Production facility equipment covered includes oil and gas production systems, wells with ESP, oil stabilisation, gas sweetening and dehydration, produced water injection, power generation, fire and gas detection systems, ESD systems, Export pipeline, metering and utilities systems.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD COVER:

Process:

• Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down wells, process and utility systems.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc) within operating requirements.
• Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
• Trouble shoot to maximize export quality and delivery volume to identify problems.
• Monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely production reporting and logging is submitted daily or as required by the company
• Witness third party calibrations when on site.

Maintenance: 

• Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required and preparing equipment for maintenance intervention.
• Operation under PTW system, Toolbox Talk and Risk Assessments.
• Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
• Trouble shoot to maximize export quality and delivery volume to identify problems.
• Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance operations.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal Process operating qualification or local technical school equivalent. (Processing Operations Hydrocarbons Level3 or CRO Level3 or similar)
• Minimum 5years experience & thorough knowledge and experience of Oil& Gas production, process and utilities systems, operations and wells.
• Onshore working rota 1-week On1 Week Off.
